Sigtuna is amazing, it is a small town so you can defenitly...
Sigtuna is amazing, it is a small town so you can defenitly see all of it in one day, but it is absolutely worth going there. It is the oldest town in Sweden and has a very rich viking history. The town is still the way it was 1000 years ago!! Around the little town are very old rune stones that are absolutely worth seeing, also beautiful viking ruins. I would also recommend the Sigtuna museum for some great viking history and very interesting information about Sigtuna in olden times. If you are curious about viking life..sigtuna is the place to be!

The property is lovely and clean, great shower, cooking facilities and even outside seating overlooking St Olaf’s (lovely to sit there for breakfast). Marie and Freddy were lovely hosts and responded to emails very quickly. The centre of Sigtuna is only a couple of minutes walk away and the lake is less than 10 minutes. The building and the surroundings are peaceful, and it sometimes felt like being in a Swedish museum almost on your own (in a very good sense). We also had a lovely dinner at the restaurant one evening. There is a bus stop just in front of the hotel and it is walking distance from Sigtuna center (about 15 minutes). It takes 5 min to the lake.AnnaGermany

We picked this hotel as we had a day layover in Stockholm and a long hall flight the next day. It was so nice to go for a walk around the city and the walking paths were beautiful. Charming little town. They recommend a restaurant in the city to get some Swedish meatballs and wow, they were the best my mom and I ever had! Would love to visit again!KennethFinland

We were spending the following day in the town and the hotel were happy for us to leave our bags in their luggage room until we were ready to travel onward in the evening. The hotel is on the outskirts of the town but Sigtuna is very small so it is only a 3 or 4 minute walk and you are in the centre.

It's cosy, clean and well-equipped - you even have some outdoor furniture at your disposal, so you can eat your breakfast in the sun, just as we did :-) owners are really friendly too, so it really feels like home.
